Love this product, while I don’t typically wear anything to tend my darling honey bees. This was a fantastic addition to wear while teaching classes. The design is smart and simple. The fabric is cool and well thought out. Securing it on is simple and functional.

Bella Beek’s UV Bee suit is quite simply in a class of its own. There’s nothing like it on the market. It’s so comfortable, I could wear it around the house or out running errands. And beyond that- I look pretty damn good too!! Mandi Shaw really nailed it, you can tell a lot of thought was put into making this suit. It’s lightweight and that’s pretty key here in Hawai’i where the sun can get hot! The UV is key too. I highly recommend this suit to anyone tired of the same old ugly, frumpy, poorly made suits— the BellaBeek UV Bee suit will not disappoint!!
Very stylish, very practical and very safe veil. Bought it for my daughter who is just starting with beekeeping and she was ecstatic about it. Felt very comfortable, with such a beautiful design. Arrived very quickly, I only wish customs fees were included in what I paid for, or was given the option to pay up front, so that my daughter did not have to pay anything upon delivery - after all, it was a gift.
Love the veil, it’s just as I anticipated. I like the colors even more in person!

The title says it all…from the fit to the fabric, to the comfort I experience wearing it…this is absolutely hands down the BEST beekeeping jacket I’ve ever owned! I’m a petite-sized person, and I cannot say enough about how amazing it is to FINALLY have beekeeping gear that fits like it was made for me!! Mandy is incredibly talented and every beekeeper needs this!!
I’ve yet to use these as I’ve battened down the hatches for a winter in OR. BUT, I can say I’m thoroughly impressed. I’ve had other pullovers and jackets, which were fine, AKA industry standard as in quickly manufactured overseas as cheaply as possible. They’ve just been part of the uniform without thinking too much about comfort, usability, or design.
I didn't realize how poorly designed they were until I stopped by Bella Beek to try on a pair. Assorted patterns were hanging up, various product sketches and prototypes lying around, as well as garment design publications which highlighted the design sensibilities that went into these garments. Attention was given to the fit, construction, and purpose and it’s clear just from looking at the jacket and pants.
In terms of comfort, I’ve only worn these around the house, but I kinda want them to be my PJ’s. The fabric choice is soft and flexible and the fit is measured as in not just a S, M, L, or XL cube that’s been scaled down. Proportions are fantastic.
Anyways, if beekeeping doesn't work out for Bella Beek, then I’m sure product Mandy has a future in apparel design.
This veil is the best! It is absolutely the most comfortable veil on the market, and more importantly, IT WORKS! I love the super wide field of view, and the hat and material are so light and breezy. I love that the hat provides shade over my eyes. Furthermore, they are totally bee-tight!
I purchased two of these Bella Beek veils; one for myself and one for my mother who likes to help out with the hives.
They are beautiful! The craftsmanship is amazing and the comfort is astounding.
The only downside is that there aren't any masculine patterns, so my dad will have to settle for borrowing one until there's one that's not quite so Bella and a little more Beau. 😉
